What this programme is for
Plastic is the waste stream where regulation has moved fastest and where the commercial consequence of misreading it is most direct. EPR turned plastic waste from a municipal problem into a balance-sheet obligation for anyone placing packaging on the market.
This programme covers both halves: the material reality — polymer types, collection, sorting, mechanical and chemical recycling — and the compliance reality of EPR registration, targets, certificates and returns.
