Despite this progress, there remains a critical shortage of skilled professionals in the waste management and recycling sector. This gap highlights an urgent need to strengthen knowledge and capabilities through focused awareness, advocacy, consultancy, and training initiatives.
While Ashrita Bio Foundation continues to focus on rural academia & SME capacity building, Ashrita Institute for Waste Management & Research (AIWMR) plays a pivotal role as a catalyst between industry and academia. It is actively engaged in upscaling, upgrading & equipping capacity of aspiring students, research scholars, working professionals, managers, academicians, and entrepreneurs with the necessary skills to address existing challenges and bridge industry gaps.
